Contacts

One of the biggest changes for the user is the Contacts applications, which effectively replaces Data for the synchronisable address book. Unlike Data, it has no obvious import data functionality. This means that there are limited options for loading data from older databases. There are three options: one is to rely on synchronisation to load the data, although this goes against the old Psion principle that Psion users were independent of desktop PC systems; another is to use the vCard format that is now supported; and the third is to use a third party ($10 shareware) program - see http://freespace.virgin.net/richard.balch/5mxContacts.htm
